CUPS Befehle / Anleitung

Installation von Treiber unter CUPS / W10 ohne SAMBA Domain

1.) Install smbclient apt-get install smbclient

2.)  Änderungen im smb.conf

## Abschnitt ###### Printing ######
  load printers = yes
  printing = cups
  printcap name = cups
  cups options = raw

  rpc_server:spoolss = external
  rpc_daemon:spoolssd = fork

## Browsing/Identification ###
 

[printers]
   comment = All Printers
   browseable = no
   path = /var/spool/samba
   printable = yes
   guest ok = yes
   public = yes
   read only = no
   create mask = 0700

# Windows clients look for this share name as a source of downloadable
# printer drivers
[print$]
   comment = Printer Drivers
   path = /var/lib/samba/printers
   browseable = yes
   read only = no
   writeable = yes
   guest ok = yes
# Uncomment to allow remote administration of Windows print drivers.

2.) SAMBA Netzlaufwerk als root verbinden

3.) Mit Windows Tools (Druckverwaltung) die Treiber installieren. Diese werden in der Freigabe print$ abgelegt

4.) Drucker mittels CUPS Interface Port 631 installieren und bereitstellen

5.) Druckertreiber mit CUPS verbinden

rpcclient localhost -U "root" -c "enumdrivers"

rpcclient localhost -U "root" -c 'setdriver "MXXXXXXX3" "Brother MFC-J870DW Printer"'

rpcclient localhost -U "root" -c "enumprinters"
